Former FBI Director James Comey may be a little bit new to Twitter. He has not been on there a whole lot. However, he decided to do a little tweet of his own after former Trump advisor Michael Flynn entered a guilty plea to lying to the FBI.
Director Comey wrote, “‘But justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream’ Amos 5:24.” This was a swipe at Flynn and his former boss, President Donald Trump. There was a reaction and it was as good as it gets. You can enjoy the responses that are in this article. You can probably go to Twitter and add something on your own.

Former FBI Director James Comey appeared to take a shot at President Donald Trump on Friday by tweeting a Bible verse after news broke that former national security advisor Michael Flynn admitted to lying to the FBI.

While Comey did not mention Flynn or Trump in the tweet, he is connected to the case in several ways, as he served as the FBI director at the time Flynn lied to the bureau and claims that Trump encouraged him to stop the government’s investigation into Flynn.
Comey’s self-righteous tweet was met with harsh criticism, Twitter users slamming him for his hypocrisy over the way he handled the investigation into Hillary Clinton
